MAJOR RESEARCH INTERESTS 

 I have great interest and capacity to develop into research ideas, proposals now and in the future in the area of:-

1. To solve constraints about technology promotion and transfer which includes, natural resources management, animal production and management, plant science and other agriculture related technologies

2. To solve constraints related to climate variability and climate change adaptation mechanisms

3. To solve constraints related to community and other public organization roles related to livelihoods and climate change adaptation mechanisms

4.     To solve constraints related to that hinder resource development (land, water, forest, etc) projects

 

 KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS 

1. Action Research project, Promotion of Fuel Saving Improved Injera stove, in Dangila Woreda, Amhara Region for 8 months in the field as practitioner within the farmers’ real environment, using the participatory approach. Moreover,   I have learnt various lessons from this participatory action research project and I have A+ mark in this action research project.

2. I have participating in other research projects such as (problems of natural resources conservation technology utilization and adoption, the roles of local NGOs for the empowerment of women and constraints of farmers’ multipurpose cooperatives)

3. Capacity building for small-scale irrigation users for enhancing their livelihoods

4. Capacity building for seed multiplication and marketing cooperatives or enhancing Local seed business group in two woreda
