(Bahir Dar, Ethiopia – June 2025) – The School of Veterinary Medicine at Bahir Dar University (SVM-BDU), in collaboration with Brooke Ethiopia, successfully delivered Compassionate Animal Handling (CAH) training from May 30 to June 1, 2025.

The hands-on session at Zenzelma Campus equipped 4th and 6th-year DVM students with essential practical skills. This initiative, made possible by a renewed Memorandum of Understanding and Brooke Ethiopia’s generous support, underscores our shared commitment to advancing veterinary education and animal welfare standards. Special thanks to Dr. Gebeyehu, Dr. Leweyew, and Dr. Mussie for their dedicated facilitation.
