Greetings,

On behalf of all our staff and students, welcome to the office of SANS and Pre-engineering. The office has a total of 35 academic staff and 2 administrative staff. The office of SANS and Pre-Engineering, in accordance with the aims of the institute, has been effectively working on the provision of quality education and conducting various community service and research activities that would solve the immediate problems of the communities. The office admits and coordinates the first-year pre-engineering students up to their department placement. The office does not admit students of its own up to graduation, unlike the rest of the faculties and departments, but offers a broad spectrum of institute requirement courses to engineering and science students.

In addition, the office is actively involved in research and community service, both of which contribute to the betterment of the community as well. Some of the community services that are delivered this year,2021/2022, to the academic and non-academic staff of the university are data management using data analysis tools (like SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB), LATEX, research methodologies, office management, conflict management, personal branding, language, and mathematics skills building, etc.

The office has two academic units which run these diverse courses:

1.      Mathematics & Statistics Unit, and

2.      Language & Ethical Studies Unit.
