Asmamaw Chanie Yihun (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor in the areas of Geodesy, GNSS Data Processing, Satellite Geodesy, Geospatial Technologies, at Bahir Dar University, Institute of Land Administration, Ethiopia. He received his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics, in GPS modeling, from Bahir Dar University in 2021, with research focused on GNSS data processing, satellite geodesy, and atmospheric science.

Wudu Muluneh Yimer (MSc.) is a Lecturer in the Department of Real Property Valuation at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, where he also serves as Chairholder of the Real Estate Investment and Development Track. Before joining Bahir Dar University, he served as a lecturer at several public universities, including in the Department of Urban Land Administration, Faculty of Urban Development, at Kotebe Metropolitan University (now Kotebe University of Education).

Hailemariam Behailu Feleke (MSc.)

Hailemariam Behailu Feleke (MSc.) holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Land Administration and Management with a specialization in Property Valuation from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia, where he graduated with a perfect 4.00 GPA and demonstrated outstanding research performance; excellent result. He also earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Agricultural Extension from Hawassa University, graduating with a 3.89 GPA. In addition, he obtained a diploma in Forestry from Cyprus, Europe.

Bahir Dar University – Institute of Land Administration (BDU-ILA) has received UAVs, digital teaching tools (including OWL Labs meeting equipment), a server, and other educational and research resources from BOKU University and the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien) in Austria. These contributions were made through two collaborative projects: the Land Information for Land Management (Li4LaM) project, funded by the ERASMUS+ program, and the Edu4GEO2 project, funded by the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization (OeAD). These valuable resources are expected to significantly strengthen BDU-ILA's capacity to deliver high-quality education, conduct problem-solving research, and expand its outreach services. BDU-ILA extends its sincere gratitude to BOKU University, the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien), the European Union’s ERASMUS+ program, and OeAD for their generous support and continued partnership.
CONGRATULATIONS

National Exit Exam Result ILA - BDU

Congratulations to Students and ILA Staff, Based on the 2025 (2017 EC) National Exit Exam; 1. Nearly 77% passed the exam (regular +summer) 2. 38% passed (summer only) 3. Two out of the eight students who scored the highest mark from BDU are LAS students with 93 mark each.

Ermias Petros Degsew (M. Sc.) is a lecturer in the areas of Architecture, Building materials, construction and project management at Architecture department in Institute of Land Administration. He has graduated with B.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering, Adama Science and Technology University in 2014. He received his M.Sc. degree in Construction Technology and Management in 2019 from Bahir Dar institute of technology, Bahir Dar University.
