A recognition ceremony for GIZ-supported incubated startups and contributors
A recognition ceremony for GIZ-supported incubated startups and contributors to BiTec and BiT Makerspace was conducted at the Business Incubation and Techno-Entrepreneurship Center BiT-BDU.

The event was placed at the BiTec center of BiT-BDU, and it was attended by senior officials from both BDU and BiT. Three startups from BiTec of BiT-BDU have won the Bruh Innovative business idea competition, as previously reported. The purpose of the event was to honor incubated startups, mentors, juries, and the GIZ office. Dr. Mekuanit Agegnehu, Vice Scientific Director for Research and Community Service at BiT, led the program event on January 31. Dr. Seifu Admasu, BiT's Scientific Director, opened the event by expressing his delight at the success of nurtured firms. He also presented achievements, challenges, and BiTec's future plans, including AgriTech Challenges and Solutions, MedTech Challenges and Solutions, Digitalization as a Challenge Solution, Agro-Processing Business Idea Competition, and Agro-Processing Business Idea Competition. Dr. Seifu Admasu, BiT's Scientific Director, and Dr. Essay Kebede, BDU's Vice President for Academic Affairs, recognized the BiT Makerspace's contributors and partners. Finally, Dr. Essay Kebede, Vice President for Academics at BDU, expressed his gratitude to all contributors, partners, and BiT who help startups transform ideas into innovation and business.
At the end of the event, a project display was hosted at BiTmakerspace.
