On Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Jan Moscov Library, Google Women Tech Makers Bahir Dar, in collaboration with Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, BiTec-BiT Makerspace, and 251 Communications Bahir Dar, hosted the International Women's Day Tech Summit. The Summit's goal is to teach young girls in Bahir Dar about women's roles in the creation of a new, improved, and modern world, as well as to show them that they, too, can be a part of the revolution by celebrating their involvement in technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and life in general.
