Our School is located in a pristine location surrounded by natural beauty, forests, lakes and river.
Since its establishment the School of Law has earned a national reputation for educational excellence, academic rigor, and the highest standards of professionalism. The School's academic programs include undergraduate LLB in Law and B.A in Governance and development studies Programs. The graduate-level programs offered include LLM in Criminal Justice and Human Right, LLM in Business and Corporate Law, LLM in Environment and Land law, LLM in Construction and Dispute Resolution and MA in Governance and Development studies. Since 2017 the School launched PhD program in Law which is the second Law stream PhD program in the history of the country. In running these programs, our international partnerships help us to draw the best practice and experience of internationally known Law Schools and Academic institutions.

Located in the beautiful Gish Abay Campus of the University, our staff members and students are actively engaged in academic, research, and community service projects that make an immediate impact on the community and the country at large. We have a talented, diverse and energetic community of staff and students. Most importantly, we are educating and preparing our students for the practice of law in an ever-changing legal profession through rigorous classroom instruction and in-depth practical experiences through our Free Legal Aid Centre, and Arbitration and Moot Court Centre. Our efforts are reflected in the very high Law exit exam passage rates, the highest mark scored in the national law exit exam, and number of cups won in the National Moot court competition.
In the School's short history, our high-quality academic programs and highly competent and qualified students have brought a national reputation to the University.
