Moot Court Center

The Moot Court Center at Bahir Dar University School of Law provides students with the opportunity to take part in simulated court proceedings. Participants draft briefs (also called memorials) and engage in oral argument, thereby practicing and improving their lawyering skills. The Moot Court Center is part of the Law School’s efforts to provide students with an education that balances both theory and practice, so that graduates are well prepared to begin their legal careers.
