The Institute of Land Administration of Bahir Dar University has launched a Journal of Land Policy and Governance (JLPG). Scholars and policy makers are kindly invited to submit original research works for publication in the journal.
Land Policy and Governance journal is an interdisciplinary journal that aims to publish research outputs, policy comments, book reviews and reflections on different dimensions of land embracing from land administration, land governance, land tenure, housing, land development, land policy and reform, land acquisition, land information system, surveying and geodesy, land use planning, urban planning, land economics and valuation, land law and land management and related fields. Taking into consideration the importance of land in the socio-economic, governance, environmental, food security and sustainable development in African region in particular and beyond, this journal provides a forum for the exchange of research outputs and particular cases of interest from the diverse disciplines of land. In general, the Journal works for the advancement of science and policy debate in land governance and management and other related discourses by promoting research and critical inquiry.
