In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Belayneh brings deep practical expertise to the field as a CAF "B" Licensed Coach. For more than a decade, he has dedicated his coaching career to mentoring and developing young talent as the head coach of the Bahir Dar University youth football program.

His dual role as a high-level certified coach and an academic leader bridges the gap between sports science theory and practical execution:

• Practical Youth Development: Over 10 years of hands-on coaching experience shaping BDU youth footballers, instilling technical discipline, tactical intelligence, and professionalism.
• Physical & Athletic Conditioning: Designing evidence-based strength, speed, and plyometric training programs specifically tailored for developing Ethiopian soccer players.
• Load Management & Recovery: Applying scientific workload balancing and recovery strategies to help young athletes achieve peak performance while minimizing injury risks.
• Sport Psychology & Athlete Support: Studying and applying practical approaches to parental support, coaching dynamics, and mental resilience in competitive youth sports.
