   As PI I have obtained 5,000 USD international grant awarded entitled of the  project “Effectiveness of Multi-Hazard Early Warning System: the case of Pastoral Communities in Ethiopia” funded by USID with collaboration of Arizona  University in USA and Stellenbosch University in South Africa. 

 

 

Work experience 

 

    More than 3 years’ experience in disaster risk management, early warning, livelihoods, and food security at  governmental organization and Non-Governmental Organization 

  1. From march 13, 2021 to july23, 2023 as graduate assistance in Bahir Dar University, Institute of Disaster Risk Management and Food Security Studies. 
  2. From July 23, ,2023 till now as Lecturer in in Bahir Dar University, Institute of Disaster Risk Management and Food Security Studies. 
  3. From  October 24 to December 04, 2023  as  Enumerator for the Assurance Project of the World Food Program (WFP) at  northern Ethiopia in two districts such as East  Telemit and West Telemt. 
  4. From December 2022 to April 2023 as Enumerator at the World Food Program ( WFP) (R4Project).
