On July 9, 2026, the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (FMIE) at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT) hosted a delegation from MSA Business Group as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen university–industry collaboration. During the visit, the delegation toured FMIE and FCFE workshops, observed operational facilities, and engaged with faculty members to explore opportunities for research, technology transfer, and industrial cooperation. The visit followed the recent signing of a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MSA Business Group, FMIE, and FCFE. Discussions with the institute's leadership emphasized transforming the partnership into practical action through joint projects, technology transfer initiatives, and workforce development. The event reaffirmed the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing innovation and fostering sustainable industry–academia collaboration.
