Mogedel Watershed

Mogedel Integrated Watershed

Mogedel watershed is located in Zenzelma kebele in Bahir Dar City administration and Tenta kebele in Bahir Dar Zuria Woreda of Amhara Region, Ethiopia. It is about 10 kilometers away from Bahir Dar town, the capital of Amhara region. The study watershed is situated on about 965 ha of land includes part and whole of four gots (i.e., Embis Warka and Sesaberet from Bahir Dar city administration, Mojer and Meskel-Bet from Bahir Dar Zuria Woreda) bordered by Abalo watershed (Mazoriya got) in the northwest, Tenta-laguna in the north, Kes-Mender (Tenta) in the east and southeast, Woreb in the south, and main Asphalt Road (Gondar high way) in the west.
