We are pleased to announce the 9th International Sport Science Research Conference at Bahir Dar University Sport Academy, taking place on May 24-25, 2025. This prestigious event will bring together scholars, researchers, and professionals from around the world to share insights and advancements in sports science, physical education, and sustainable development.

Theme on:

"Innovative Sport Science and Physical Education for Excellence: Advancing Sustainable Development Through Research & Collaboration."

Sub-Themes:

1. Advancements in Sports Science and Performance Enhancement – Injury prevention, high-performance training, biomechanics, AI, sports analytics, wearable tech, and eSports.
2.  Physical Education, Health, and Well-being – Impact of physical activity on health, inclusive sports, and physical literacy.
3. Sports Policy, Governance, and Socio-Economic Development – Role of governments & federations, ethics, fair play, women in leadership, grassroots sports, and commercialization.
4. Sports for Peace and Social Transformation – Sports in conflict resolution, peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and social inclusion.
5. Environmental Sustainability in Sports – Eco-friendly sports facilities, sustainable events, and climate change effects on outdoor sports.
