Keep it Green

Journalism and Communication students at BDU participate in an exemplary voluntary activity.

Second year Students from Department of JoCo dedicate their working day to taking care of seedlings planted on the tip of a hill in a place called Bezawit located on the eastern edge of Bahir Dar city. The saplings were planted few months before by the participation of different bodies of Bahir Dar university community. Solomon Mulu, a lecturer in the department, has taken the leading role to go with his students to engage in this great voluntary activity. Such initiatives are believed to be stepping stones to earth shaking campaigns that changes the livelihood of life on planet earth. It is hoped that other students and members of the university to follow their footsteps in making the greening campaign fruitful. Keep up the great job JoCo!!
