As Academic programs Director Office of the Ethiopian Institute of Textile and Fashion Technology, I have the privilege of leading the academics part of the institution and we have Regular undergraduates (Textile Engineering, Garment Engineering, Leather Engineering , Fashion Design, Textile & Apparel Merchandise, Textile chemical Process Engineering) and Postgraduates(Textile Manufacturing , Textile Chemistry, Fiber Technology , Fashion Technology, Fashion Design, and Leather Product Design & Engineering) Programs.
We want to become a leading academic and research institution in Fashion Design, Leather Technology, Textile Engineering, Garment Engineering, Textile chemical process and Engineering, Textile & apparel Merchandizing programs that develop students to become an entrepreneur through a Practical based education, research and community services.
We strive to train our students to get placed in top multinational competitive by improving their talent and academic capabilities. Our institute has an impressive laboratory organization by Kaizen and that our students have gained more practical based knowledge and we have an excellent experience among at Ethiopian as well as African university level by Textile, Fashion and Leather sectors. Ethiopian institute of Textile and Fashion Technology [EITEX] has strong alliance to local industry, national institutions and other international institutions to ensure knowledge, attitude and Practical skills of our students and staffs.
