Field Trips and Visit Program

Students will conduct educational travel to some selected industries, educational  institutions and recreational palces. The visit places selected for the educational and recreational tour are listed below. These places are selected because they are found in small distances from the STEM Center and because of their contribution in students' learning and future career.

• Tana Communication Industry,
• Tana Beles, a multi-purpose Hydro Electric Power Station,
• Bahir Dar Textile Factory,
•  Bahir Dar Flower Farm,
• Historical Places in Lake Tana,
• Blue Nile Water Falls (Tiss Isat Falls),
• Amhara Regional Agricultural Research Institute(ARARI),
• Koga Irrigation Dam,
• Dashen Brewery,
• Gondar Fasiledes Castle,
• Simien Mountain National Park,
• Ethiopian Institute of Textile and Garment and Bahir Dar Institute of Technology,
• Ethiopian Maritime Academy.

Some of these places are visited by students and teachers, both school and university teachers, during the last three summer outreach training programs and two Maths Camp Programs.
