Bahir Dar University Sport Academy invites qualified applicants for the 2019 E.C. Academic Year in Extension (Evening) and Distance Undergraduate Degree and PGDT programs based on the Ministry of Education (MoE) entry criteria.

PROGRAMS OFFERED

1. Distance Learning Programs

PGDT Program: Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (Physical Education)

Application Centers: Bahir Dar, Gondar, Dessie, Debre Birhan, Addis Ababa, Debre Markos, Finote Selam, and Mota-Enese.

2. Extension (Evening) Programs

B.Ed. Degree: Physical Education

BSc Degree: Sport Science

Application Venue: Bahir Dar University Sport Academy Registrar

REGISTRATION PERIOD

Dates: Nehase 22, 2018 E.C. – Meskerem 30, 2019 E.C.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must fulfill MoE admission criteria through one of the following paths:

Met the required university entrance cut-off point for the relevant academic year.

Fulfill the entrance criteria set for Diploma or TVET graduates transitioning to higher education.

Successfully completed the Remedial Program in public higher education institutions.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Original and photocopy of educational credentials.

Official Transcript (sent via P.O. Box 79 for Diploma applicants).

Original and non-refundable photocopy of the 300 ETB application fee receipt.
