Background

School of Graduate Studies

School of Graduate Studies of the institute runs 38Msc and 26 PhD programs with 2,007 postgraduate students. The school involves meeting the research excellence of the institute through postgraduate students and staffs by doing research targeting on sustainable development goals and innovation.

• General objective

1. Identify and prioritize the technological demands of the economy that contributes to the development of the economic corridor and intiate new curricula.
2. Develop appropriate technological packages based on the demand.
3. Create and promote staff awareness on reaserch projects.
4. Making the graduate training a well-integrated program with research and community services

Admission Requirements for MSc programs

For enrolment in the Master’s program at BiT:

1. All applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree in the specific/related field(s) of study from a recognized degree offering institute;
2. All applicants must meet the selection criteria satisfactorily, which may include the entrance examination to be administered by the concerned academic units;
