Bahir Dar University School of Earth Sciences successfully held a fruitful discussion with senior officials from Lemi National Cement, focusing on strengthening collaboration between the university and industry.

During the meeting, both sides discussed possible ways to work together, such as research collaboration and chances to get involved in real-world activities. The conversation stressed how important it is to create strong connections between universities and industries that encourage innovation, capacity building, and growth for both sides.

The School of Earth Sciences was given the job of writing a draft MoU after the meeting. This document will make the future cooperation and partnership between Bahir Dar University and Lemi National Cement official.
