Hydro-Climatologist || Geospatial Data Analyst

I am a resourceful professional with expertise in Hydro-climatology,

GIS, and Remote Sensing for environmental applications. With over 10 years of managerial experience, I excel in analytical and problemsolving skills, and I have a proven ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals

Currently, I serve as an academic staff member at the Institute of Disaster Risk Management and Food Security Studies at Bahir Dar University. My responsibilities include conducting research, teaching, training, and providing consultancy services. My work experience includes water & climate service utilization, climate related disaster risk management and data analysis & Machine Learning,.

I have also taught postgraduate courses and provided short-term training to the academic staff at Juba University in South Sudan and Hargeisa University in Somaliland to share my skills and knowledge. These trainings focused on climate service utilization and the application of GIS & remote sensing to support disaster risk reduction efforts.
