  2. Awards and Honors: Master’s and Bachelor degree in sociology with great distinction from university of Gondar and Woldiya University respectively.
  3. Teaching Experience: I had more than five years of teaching experience as a lecturer of Sociology at Wolkite University and here at BDU.
  4. Research interests: My main research interest basically focuses on the following key sociological issues. social inequality, gender studies, urbanization, migration, and development, Social health inequality, gender and disability, women empowerment, globalization, health and illness, pro-social behavior, sociology work/organization.
  5. Research projects since joining BDU: Socio-cultural factors and knowledge barriers affecting the prevention and screening of cervival cancer among women in Amhara region.

  7. Publications: I had one published journal article on springer journal and another ongoing research articles which is under review.
