Mr. Dessie Tarekegn has successfully defended his PhD dissertation in the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering - Thermal Engineering Chair at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University (BiT-BDU). His research, titled "Assessment of the Performance of a Pump as Turbine for Enhancing Small Scale Irrigation," was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Girma Gebresenbet from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden, and Dr. Bimrew Tamerat from BiT-BDU
