Bahir Dar University’s Faculty of Civil and Water Resources Engineering is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for the 2019 EC. academic year. Qualified applicants who hold an equivalent qualification meeting the Ministry of Education’s cut-off points are invited to apply. The Faculty offers dynamic undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields of Civil Engineering, and Water Resources Engineering. The Civil Engineering BSc Program is an internationally accredited program by Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) since 2020. .

Admission Requirements

Applicants are required to submit the original and photocopies of their academic credentials, including degree certificates and other relevant certificates; an official academic transcript; a valid National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) result; and a non-refundable application fee of ETB 300. Sponsored applicants must also provide a sponsorship letter, while PhD applicants must submit an advisor’s consent letter and a research concept note or dissertation synopsis. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete their registration by submitting all required documents within the announced admission period.
