Short Biography
▪ Habtamu is a Chemical and Materials Engineer specializing in sustainable materials development, process optimization, and circular economy solutions. He hold a dual Master’s degree in Advanced Materials Innovative and Recycling (AMIR), specializing in Materials Engineering, building upon three years of experience as a Senior Laboratory Technician.
▪ His primary research focuses on the recycling of complex composite waste for applications in technical ceramics. By transforming difficult-to-manage industrial waste streams into high-value ceramic materials, this work bridges a critical gap in materials science: it offers a scalable solution to the environmental burden of composite landfills while providing the academic community with novel pathways for waste valorization. Driven by a passion for polymers, composites, and energy materials, Habtamu is committed to designing efficient, closed-loop systems that optimize materials use and advance environmental sustainability.
