Short Biography

Mr. Desalegn Adisu Kassie is a Lecturer and researcher with over eight years of experience in agriculture sustainability, environmental remediation, microbial biotechnology, molecular biology and bioinformatics. He holds a Master's and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology. His work focuses on developing a bioinoculant from beneficial microbes and vermicomposting technology as a bioferilizer, biodegradable films, food and agricultural sustainability in biotechnology fields. He possesses an extensive hands-on laboratory skills and experience in microbiological techniques, molecular biology techniques, and bioinformatics analysis tools. His current research focuses on the molecular characterization of Rhizobium bacteria as a bioinoculant. His research interest focuses on plant microbial interaction, industrial product development, remediation technology in environmental and medicinal plant and health biotechnology.
