Ejigayehu is a lecturer and researcher in biochemical engineering with a strong focus on sustainability and eco‑innovation. She specializes in bio‑based composites, microbial pigments, fermentation optimization, and materials characterization, aiming to develop renewable alternatives to petrochemical products. Her work bridges Ethiopian biodiversity with global scientific standards, contributing to sustainable coatings, circular bioeconomy, and environmentally responsible technologies. As an educator, she integrates sustainability and ethical evaluation into her teaching, inspiring students to pursue green solutions. She is committed to expanding her research portfolio to advance sustainable materials and practices.
