Graduation of trainees on short-term training program in Cosmetics Formulation

The Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT) successfully completed a three-month training in cosmetics formulation, equipping seven participants with practical, industry-relevant skills. Graduates received certificates during a campus ceremony.
Dr. Mitiku Damtie, Scientific Director of BiT, emphasized the role of such programs in bridging the gap between research and commercialization, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. Dean Prof. Solomon Workneh noted the training is part of the faculty’s broader capacity-building efforts and reaffirmed a commitment to expanding such initiatives.
Lead trainer Dr. Tesfaye Alamirew congratulated the trainees and encouraged them to apply their skills professionally and entrepreneurially.
The faculty remains committed to delivering practical, market-oriented training and looks forward to future sessions.
