I have more than 15 years of experience as research assistant, researcher and teacher at Adet Agricultural Research Center, Woramit Fruit and Vegetable Research and Training Center and Bahir Dar University, respectively

6.1. Adet and Woramit Agricultural and Horticultural research Centers

The main activities and responsibilities of the previous position as research technical assistant and researcher are identification of field/horticultural crops production constraints, project and proposal development on the basis of the identified problems, peer-review of project proposals, implementation of research activities, monitoring & evaluating of the ongoing activities, data collection and management, statistical analysis and interpretation to draw conclusion and provide recommendations, report writing (progress, proceeding and journals), release and recommend best technologies to enhance production and productivity, maintain and multiply technologies (seed and planting materials) for further research and consumers, popularization and dissemination of proven technologies via field demonstration, trainings, manuals, leaflets, charts and mass medias, provide technical trainings on horticultural crops production, post-harvest technologies for producers and consumers, lead and organize local and international organization projects implemented in collaboration with Amhara Agricultural Research Institute (ARARI).
