Mentored more than 20 research projects of MSc students in three departments: Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, and Natural Resources and Environment.
Conducted research projects and published more than 15 research papers in peer reviewed journals, 4 proceedings, 1 book and 2 book chapters.

November 2016– July 2017; January 2019 – July 2020: Lead researcher in baseline survey conducted in ASMC-BiT project intervention districts in Amhara region for baseline information established on welfare outcomes as benchmark to measure the changes resulting from interventions as well as in the terminal evaluation of the impact of this project interventions in mechanization of smallholder agriculture to household well-being such as food security, net income, labor and land productivity in crop production, and drudgery and workload of women.
