Training on PhET Science Simulation Software and Geogebra Dynamical Mathematics Software has been delivered to School Teachers. It was a two weeks training program intended to help school teachers to include computer aided lessons in their classroom teaching. Participants of the training -are teachers teaching science, and Mathematics subjects in grades 7-12, both from governmental and private schools. They are 60 in number and grouped into four subject areas. The softwares are used for teaching and learning purposes all over the world. The software installers, manuals and sample lessons designed by many teachers are also available and can easily be downloaded from the internet freely. All the training resources including the softwares and lessons designed by Bahir Dar STEM Instructors are given to treanees for further reference and classroom use. This training will continue to be given to other school teachers and university instructors through rounds.
