Bahir Dar University has completed offering training on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for the last 45 days to elementary and high school students.

The students, gifted with Math and Science, were drawn from different primary and secondary schools of the region and beyond. Began two years ago, the program has been offering practice-oriented training to the students to help them unleash their potential in STEM, said STEM Centre Director, Mr. Bire Gete. This year, 340 students have been trained in STEM.
The students, at the end of the program, have made a demonstration on their works on different technological experiments such as house heat control mechanism, home electric power control and etc.
