Faculty of Humanities undertakes deanship election competition
After the dean of the faculty Dr Sefa completed his three years term in office, the vacancy for the position has been announced on the University's digital media platforms. The vacancy has been on air for ten working days. Following the announcement, four candidates namely, Dr Ayenew Guadu, Dr Waltenigus Mekonnen, Dr Biset Ayalew and Dr Abebe Admasu showed their willingness to run for the office. As it was learnt from the election committee, after results from all the criteria, Dr Ayenew Guadu, Dr Waltenigus Mekonnen, Dr Biset Ayalew and Dr Abebe Admasu scored the highest to lowest in their order in percentiles. The competitors were told to file for any complaints, if any, to the committee.
