Amharic Language Club Inaugurated

BDU: The University’s Faculty of Humanities has formally launched Amharic Language knowledge sharing Club.
During the meeting, the Dean Dr Seyoum Teshome explained that the installation of the club would be instrumental to identify problems and suggest remedies hazarding the development of the language.
He also pointed out that the establishment of the forum could be a platform to bring all stakeholders to discuss on ways of improving the delivery of the language in classroom context.
In lauding the effort of Amharic Language team, Dr Seyoum stressed that the move of setting up Amharic language club may possibly be taken as best example for other programs of the faculty.
Speaking at the same occasion, the Coordinator of the club Hirut Kassaw disclosed that the objective of the knowledge sharing club was to improve the teaching –learning process of the language, to support both teachers and students at various levels and propose possible ways of enhancing the use and application of the language in various contexts.
Participants were drawn from Bahir Dar University, Schools (Primary and Secondary) situated in Bahir Dar City.
