College Staff visited the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Primary tabs

The management and Academic and Support Staff of the College of Science, Bahir Dar University visited the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, the biggest infrastructure project in Africa, on Saturday, May 17, 2014.  It was really an honor to visit this historical project. The visit was planned to create awareness about this grand dam project and to show our solid commitment to support the project, financially and in any other way, until its full completion.

This project is a proof that we Ethiopians are able and ready to do grand projects like this one and it is our duty to continue to support this project until its completion.

It is to be recalled that Bahir Dar University, in collaboration with Centre for Development Studies, has conducted intellectual convention, on 28th and29th of April, 2014, with a focus of mobilizing Ethiopian intellectuals toward the Blue Nile cause under the banner of “The role of Intellectuals on Ethiopia’s rights to use the Blue Nile for development purposes”.
