The President of Bahir Dar University, Dr. Mengesha Ayene, said that it is necessary to support the mathematics education and training of teenagers (Maths Cump) by planning and budgeting to create teenagers who have the love and potential of science. The President visited the College of Science and made a working visit. The working visit was attended by leaders at all levels of the College of Science, senior professors and teachers, as well as senior leaders of the university.

Science College Dean Prof. Berhanu Asaye conveyed a welcome message to Dr. Mengesha Ayene. The purpose of the day's program was to welcome Dr. Mengesha Ayene, a former student of the Science College and today's President of Bahirdar University. He said that it is an old college that can do things.

The Vice Dean of the College, Prof. Tsagaye Kasa, gave a brief presentation about the College of Science and said that they would like the support of the President of the University to build a science building in the future, to have a centrally managed laboratory management and other issues.
