Biography

I am an Ethiopian national with a Master's degree in Geo-Information Science. I currently serves as a lecturer at Bahir Dar University, where I deeply committed to enhancing the educational landscape and fostering research initiatives in Ethiopia. my academic and professional journey has been shaped by a strong interest in geospatial science and its applications in understanding environmental issues, including land degradation, climate variability and change, and ecological dynamics. Drawing from firsthand experiences of the challenges faced by rural communities in Ethiopia, I seeks to address the critical issues of the environment. My aspiration is to contribute to sustainable land management practices that empower local communities while advocating for equitable access to natural resources. I am eager to engage in collaborative research that informs policy and supports effective solutions to environmental challenges in Africa and beyond.
