  • Completed high school High school in 1987 at Belay Zeleke Secondary School Bichena
  • BA in history in November 1990 from Addis Ababa University
  • MA in Social Anthropology from Addis Ababa University
  • PhD in Social Work & Social Development in July 2014 from Adds Ababa University

 Elder care, elder abuse, longevity – centenarian study, death and bereavement, youth unemployment, social protection, and community-based organizations, and social history from social work perspective.
