2.Biography
Temesgen Abelneh was born in 1990 in Finoteselam, Ethiopia. He completed his primary and secondary education at Damot School before earning a Bachelor's degree in History and Heritage Management from Jimma University in 2011. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's degree in Sociology from Haramaya University in 2017. Over the past 13 years, he has served his country in various roles, including education inspector, project trainer, and researcher.
3.Awards and Honors
I have received various awards recognizing my achievements in teaching, research, preparing and presenting research seminars, starting a business idea, and completing training of trainers (TOT).
4.Teaching Experience
Since July 2011, I have engaged in various professional roles, including Secondary School Teacher, Training Coordinator for a Rehabilitation Project, Educational Inspector, and researcher. Since July 2021, I have served as a Lecturer at Dire Dawa University and currently Bahir Dar University.
5.Research interests
I am interested in the following research areas: sociology of culture, sociology of media, sociology of education, sociology of marginalized groups, and sociology of conflict and conflict resolution.
