General Information

The School of Medicine (SOM) is one of the three schools of College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The School plays a key role in educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. Following the new structure of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, a Dean and Asst. Dean was appointed to lead the School of Medicine, along with seven department and nine unit heads. The departments all together have run undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Most of the human resources management is carried out centrally at the College level. The School has a Council composed of department and unit heads, and a Staff representative.
