- Animal breeding, genetics, and biotechnology: Phenotypic and molecular characterization of livestock for different production traits, adaptation to thermotolerance and stressors, resistance to diseases and parasites.
- Genomics and bioinformatics
- Biotechnological application of microbes for animal source food including pre- and probiotics.
- Metagenomic analysis of rumen microbiota from domestic and wild animals.
