-  Create a platform/facility in which researchers and scientists can be engaged in biotechnology research.

-  Carry out demand-driven, theme-based, and problem-solving biotech research activities.

-  Engage postgraduate students in biotechnology research

-  Be engaged in biotechnology teaching-leaning activities

-  Engage researchers and postgraduate students in biotech CS and TT activities

-  Collaborate with other local, national and international institutions for resources

-  Enhance research and technology transfer based on the country’s requirements;
