Centre for Learning and Instruction
The quality of students’ learning relies mainly on how teachers translate their knowledge of subject matter, pedagogy, pedagogical content knowledge, and technology into practice in the classrooms. Particularly, students’ learning is maximized when teachers cleverly integrate content, instruction, and assessment with available and relevant technologies. The Center for Learning and Instruction is thus established to realize this under the auspices of IPER. It is intended to support teachers’ classroom instruction and enhance students’ learning by informing classroom practices with research. It mainly focuses on researching the knowledge base of teaching and teachers. The Center is dedicated to conducting research on various issues among which include curriculum and instruction, learning theories, and assessment at all levels of education and fields.
