Post Graduate Library
The Post Graduate Library, one of the six branch library in Bahir Dar University. It serves primarily post graduate students of the University. Temporarily, the library also serves the College of Medical and Health Science students until the construction of the College Library completed. The library provides books and journals relevant to the various graduate programs of the University and to the programs of the College of the Medical and Health Science. Reference Section and Document Section are located in the Library’s building.

Science Library
The Science Library, one of the six branch library in Bahir Dar University. The library has collections strengths in various science subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Physical Education, and Statistics. The Braile Section that provides specialized services for visually-impaired students of the University is located on the floor of the Library. One of the Internet service points located on the floor of the Science Library is strictly for College of Medical and Health Science students.

Social Science Library
The Social Science Library, one of the six branch library in Bahir Dar University. The library holds library materials on social sciences, humanities, education, and behavioral sciences. It has a collection of books, periodicals as well as senior essays, theses, and dissertations. The library has an internet connection and those users who have a laptop can access internet and e-resources freely from within the library.

Business and Economics Library
The Business and Economics Library is one of the six branch library in Bahir Dar University. It serves primarily students and staff of the College of Business and Economics, School of Law, and Land Administration Institute. The Library also has a General Collections used for users of those branch libraries found in the Main Campus of the University. It provides facilities for accessing Internet and e-resources freely from within the library. Initially the service is available for Post Graduate students and Academic staff of the University. Currently the service is also available for graduating class students.

Institute of Textile Library
The Institute of Textile Library, one of the six branch library in Bahir Dar University. It caters the needs of those in the fields of textile, garment, and fashion engineering.

Institute of Engineering Main Library
The Institute of Engineering Main Library, one of the six branch library in Bahir Dar University. It serves second year and above students and staff of the School of Computing & Electrical Engineering, School of Food & Chemical Engineering, School of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, and School of Civil & Water Engineering. The Library has two sub-branches including Junior Library and Freshman Library. Junior Library serves primarily students and staff of the College of Agriculture & Environmental Science. Freshman Library also serves all first year students of the Institute of Engineering. Internet service is provided on the floor of the Main Library for graduating class students only.
