NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
Recently we received an e-mail from some of our faculty members telling us about an online announcement posted on the website http://ajol.info/index.php/afrrev/about/subscriptions inviting researchers to subscribe for the African Research Review Journal. The subcription demands the visitors a payment of USD 20 for individuals and USD 50 for institutions.
Bahir Dar University has no affiliation with such organization & individuals mentioned, this information is not accurate and the entire post is a fake.
Bahir Dar University would like to inform its staff to pass this fraud to partners, collegues and institutions that have received similar communications and remind them of the fraudulent information contained in the website avoiding thereby that any of them pay this unduly requested fee.
Currently the Information and Strategic Communication office & Legal office of Bahir Dar University is investigating the case for further legal actions.
