Graduate Programs
Currently, four departments in College of Science offer graduate program in Master of Science (M.Sc.) and PhD level.
Master of Science (MSc)
Graduate program in Master of Science level are offered by Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics departments. Studies in Master of Science level leads to Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree.
Each master program has a number of areas of specialization that a student can choose. The entire master programs are research based in which students are allowed to work on original research during the final year under the supervision of their academic supervisor.
Under normal circumstances, duration of the master program is two years in regular program and 4 summers in summer program.
General admission requirement to join MSc program is that a candidate must hold Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in the field from a recognized higher education institute.
In addition to the General radmission requirement, each department may have specific admission requirements.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Currently, PhD program is offered only in the department of Physics. Study in the PhD program leads to Doctor of philosophy. PhD candidates need to contact a potential supervisor in the field of their interest.
