BDU holds AIDS policy review meeting
BDU: The University’s HIV/AIDS Prevention, Control and Coordination Office tabled draft HIV/AIDS intervention policy for discussion.
Explaining the objective, BDU’s President Office Head Dr.Alemayehu Bishaw asserted that the meeting was held to gather relevant input from various stakeholders to improve the policy document.
Small group of reviewers drawn from various stakeholders gave important input on legal aspects, media strategy, partnership and organizational structure that needed to be considered in the policy document.
The office organized the meeting in collaboration with National Alliance of States and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) Ethiopia Bahir Dar University Chapter.
