VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATION DONATES OUTFITS
BDU: Students, Teachers and Non-academic wing workers Volunteers Association of Bahir Dar University presented outfits to inmates of Bahir Dar Correction and Rehabilitations Center.
During the function, BDU’s Vice President for Information and Strategic Communication, Molla Ababu lauded the dignified cause of the association in its effort to support the less privileged members of the society.
“This good deed ushers in a peaceful integration of convicts in to the community at the end of their period in the correction Center,” he noted.
Molla advised the Association members to continue supporting the community with passion despite minor challenges that affected their performance in their way to achieving their objectives.
The BDU Volunteer Association Chairperson Student Asimamaw Degarege said the association was established to provide Voluntary services in health, education, environmental conservation as well as supporting aged peoples by renovating their shelters and offering tutorial services to students who have learning difficulties in secondary Schools.
