Background:

Dawit Amogne is an assistant professor in the Department of English Language and Literature, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He earned his B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literature (with Distinction), and M.A. in TEFL, both from Addis Ababa University. Currently, he is doing his PhD in TEFL in Bahir Dar University. His research interests include language teaching and learning, ESP (English for Specific Purposes), teaching writing, classroom English, genre analysis and genre-based writing, business communication, and others related. He published articles in reputable journals, prepared teaching materials and reviewed journal articles and teaching materials.
