He has been working as lecturer of Statistics in BDU since April, 2006. He has served as Central statistician at university level from September 24 –August 23, 2010 and Chief Registrar of Bahir Dar University since August 24, 2010. He is working as a member in different committees such as Academic and Standard Review Committee and Graduate council committee. Ato Awoke has published a research article entitled “Impact and Treatment of the Evaluators’ Effect on Employees’ Performance Appraisal” . He is also an active participant in different ocmmunity services.
